The Daily Grind

So I’m back at work after the holiday break. It was so great to not have to worry about it for nearly two weeks! It did seem to go by really fast. Luckily, everyone seems to be in a pretty jolly mood after the holidays. Hopefully, it will stay that way. But knowing what I know, I don’t think so.

It’s so funny that as we’ve gotten older, and presumably more mature, the gossip and mud slinging only gets worse. I don’t really understand what it is about grown adults feeling the need to be mean at work. The thing is, you’re here for like 8, 9, or 10 hours out of the day. Some spend more time at work than at home. They will have to see these people and continue to work with them no matter what their feelings about them are. Then, why on earth do people trash colleagues and then wonder why they hate their job?
